Stop Morning Sickness the Natural Way

Pregnancy morning sickness is a phenomenon which very few
people have a clear understanding of.  Doctors
suggest it is due to hormonal changes during pregnancy, usually in the first
trimester, and possibly also to due to low sugar levels. Whatever the cause,
Morning sickness symptoms can make you miserable and, with almost half of all
pregnant women experiencing it, the desire to stop morning sickness is very
common.

There are many are many natural ways that you can stop
morning sickness.  Simple suggestions
such as not sitting up or standing too quickly, or carrying crackers or almonds
with you in nibble can work well.

One key thing you can do to help stop morning sickness is to
avoid any smell or taste that makes you nauseous.  Listen to your body!  If something makes you nauseous, keep well clear.

Another helpful suggestion is avoiding large meals, which
can make you feel over full, replacing them with 5 to 6 small snack type meals

a day.  One easy way to stop morning
sickness is to make sure you have something in your stomach at all times,
preferably something that is not high in fats or grease.

So when Pregnancy nausea hits, try eating a shaving of fresh
ginger, or eating potato chips instead of saltine crackers.  These taste great (not bland), and because many
women experience pregnancy nausea due to an increase in the secretion from
their saliva glands, salt and vinegar chips are suggested to stop morning sickness
symptoms.  The salt and vinegar flavour
has been proven to soak up excess saliva, and this can have the desired effect:
to stop morning sickness.

Make sure you have your blood iron levels checked, because
this also can make you feel dizzy, and lightheaded and nauseous, which can add
the uncomfortable experience of morning sickness symptoms.

Pregnancy should, after all, be a time of great enjoyment
for a woman, but this is difficult to imagine when your head is in the toilet
bowl!  If you use these and other
suggestions to help you stop morning sickness, you may discover that your
pregnancy is a wonderful experience.

Discover The Truth About Pregnancy Morning Sickness Remedies.

Discovering that you are pregnant should bring great joy, but this joy can soon be overshadowed by the spectre of pregnancy morning sickness.  From around pregnancy week 4, it is normal to feel less than energetic and tired, but half of all pregnant women begin to experience morning sickness from around this time.

Throughout the years there have been many morning sickness remedies suggested in an attempt to alleviate the suffering of pregnant women, and the fact is that various Morning sickness remedies work to differing degrees from woman to woman, with some of them yielding no effect at all.

The first thing to recognise about morning sickness remedies is that, if you have been suffering from severe vomiting, you must seek medical attention.  There is a significant risk of dehydration and malnourishment if you are vomiting excessively during this period, and these symptoms need to be seen to by a medical practitioner.

For those expectant mothers suffering pregnancy morning sickness symptoms, here is a list of suggestions, which could point you in the right direction towards finding the morning sickness remedies that will work for you.

  1. Watch what you eat.

If you are suffering from Pregnancy morning sickness, one of the easiest morning sickness remedies to apply is to monitor what you eat.  You should eat frequently, and you should eat only small meals.  If you are suffering from pregnancy nausea, you may not feel like eating at all, however, you must make sure that you and your growing baby are receiving the proper nutrients, so the best idea is to be snacking, rather than eating large meals. Try eating a snack before going to bed, because this will keep your blood sugar level elevated during the night, which experts believe could have a positive effect on your pregnancy nausea.

  1. Get plenty of sleep.

If you feel tired and run down, this will increase your morning sickness symptoms as well.  One of the best morning sickness remedies around is to get more sleep, and when you get up, make sure you get out of bed slowly.  Try waking up a bit earlier, dosing for a while and letting yourself lie in bed for about half an hour.  Ask your partner to make you some tea to sip on and snack on a few dry crackers before getting up.

  1. EFT: Emotional Freedom Technique.

This is a natural healing technique, which can yield amazing results.  It involves a form of acupuncture that you can perform yourself without needles, combining the power of mind and body using pressure points, to find relief from your pregnancy nausea.  It may not help everybody, but many women have found that it is an effective pregnancy, morning sickness remedy. Acupuncture may also be worth considering.

  1. Aromatherapy.

This is often overlooked in morning sickness remedies, but many mothers find that scents such as lavender, Camomile and Rose can have a positive effect in reducing morning sickness symptoms.  Some experts suggest mixing these scents with a base oil and massaging them into your skin, or putting them on a tissue and holding it to your nose.

Whichever of the morning sickness remedies you want to try, it’s important that you do not let morning sickness symptoms ruin what should be a beautiful and memorable time of your life.  Try any or all of the above morning sickness remedies, and see if you can find something that works for you, because life is too short to waste struggling with Pregnancy nausea and morning sickness symptoms.

All About Pregnancy Week 4

Pregnancy week
4 is a critical time in the development of your baby and also at a critical
time for you.  In fact, may not even realize
you are pregnant by week 4, but this is the week when you’ll probably notice
that your period is absent, and you may begin to feel very tired and perhaps a
bit nauseous.

Pregnancy
nausea is a common side effect of pregnancy week 4.  This is the time when the egg has borrowed deep
into the lining of your uterus, and that tiny baby is beginning to grow at a
great rate.  In fact, by the end of week
three, the fertilised egg has turned into an embryo, but it is during pregnancy
week 4 that you begin to feel the early signs of pregnancy.

Pregnancy week
4 is the week, which represents some of the fastest development of your
embryo.  A faint heartbeat has begun
while the umbilical cord is also developing during pregnancy week 4.  Psychologically, in this weeks there is an
important connection between the mother and the baby, as the mother begins to
understand what she carries within, and that she is providing nutrition, growth

and health for the young embryo.

In pregnancy
week 4 the embryo begins to experience the development of a tiny ears and eyes,
tiny little arms and legs and if you could see what was happening in your womb,
you would realise a little person is developing right inside of you.

But some of
the most dramatic changes of pregnancy week 4 are actually happening to you,
the mom, because this is generally the time when pregnancy morning sickness
symptoms begin.  There are various,
morning sickness symptoms, which include Pregnancy nausea, tiredness, vomiting,
and several other unpleasant effects.
Not all women will experience pregnancy morning sickness symptoms like
these in pregnancy week 4, but over half of women do.

The big risk
to you as a mother, and indeed for your developing child, is not the feeling of
nausea that you get, but the vomiting which can cause you to lose a great deal
of fluid and can lead to dehydration, endangering both your life and the life
of your child.

Above all,
even if you are experiencing pregnancy Morning sickness symptoms, embrace
Pregnancy Week 4 as a critical and wonderful stage in the development of both
your unborn child, and yourself!

8 wks pregnant and looking for morning sickness remedies…?

I am 8wks pregnant and suffering quite badly with nausea. I haven’t actually vomited yet but the constant nausea is starting to drain my energy levels even more than the tiredness!!

Does anyone know of any nausea busting remedies that actually work? I am currently using motion sickness bands which do work to a certain extent and ginger biscuits don’t do the trick for me…

Any help would be very greatly appreciated!! Thanks in advance:)

I was very sick for about 8-10 weeks with this pregnancy…over it now! woohoo! But the one thing that worked the best was when I first got out of bed I would make a cup of hot chocolate. It was a thicker drink, so it put something in my belly which helped…but it was easier to keep down than solid food. also…animal crackers went down fairly well…and sucking on lollipops (I used tootsie pops) helped calm the nausea for me.

I had a 105.7 fever week 4 of my pregnancy due to having the flu, Can this effect the baby’s growth?

I took meds to lower my fever, I estimate having a high fever for maybe ….2 hours….But I have been reading about temperatures and pregnancy, should I be worried? I go to my 1st prenatal visit tomorrow. I will ask the Dr.

First of all, that must’ve been awful for you having such a high fever! The baby’s temp is 1 degree higher than yours at all times (I was told that by my doctor), so it could’ve effected your baby. However, you said it was only that elevated for a couple hours…so it might have not been long enough to harm the little one. Just be sure to ask your doctor about it tomorrow. Congrats on your pregnancy!

Is it possible to have pregnancy symptoms like morning sickness a few days after conception?

I have been wanting to get pregnant & my husband & I have had sex the past week almost everyday. I took a home ovulation test Friday & it was positive. Is it possible that I could already be getting morning sickness just a few days after conception? I woke up this morning feeling really sick.

No. It’s just your mind playing tricks on you. Mine does that too.

What can I do about pregnancy nausea?

I am about seven weeks and it is continuous throughout the day, yet I will not vomit. I am VERY miserable. Is there anything that will make it subside?

Saltine crackers, dry toast, hot tea. There’s a start. You may also want to try those motion sickness wristbands, those work for some people.
