Sign Of Pregnancy : The Unmistakable Symptoms

The classic early sign of pregnancy is nausea that refuses to subside, the missed periods and achy feeling all over. Some women start feeling very hungry while some baulk at the sight of food. There is no checklist to determine the early sign of pregnancy as all the pregnancies differ from one to another. If you look closely your body tells you all signs of pregnancy long before the medical pregnancy tests confirms it.

Sign of pregnancy
There are several symptoms and signs of pregnancy experienced fairly early, even before the missed periods stage. Nearly all women go through it. Some women may overlook it, as they are not able to distinguish the early signs of pregnancy from similar health problems. While some women immediately sense the abrupt change in their body and take precaution. Some of these early signs of pregnancy are:

General fatigue: You may notice that you feel tired, fatigued and lack of energy. A feeling of laziness engulfs with no apparent cause. This fatigue is the result of change in hormones and body chemistry as it prepares it self to welcome a new life. The fatigue starts soon after conception and is generally the first and foremost sign of pregnancy. Do not resort to pep pills but instead get into the bed and sleep till later. Work off fatigue with short naps and relaxation as and when you feel low.

Tenderness of breasts: Raging hormones cause tenderness in the breasts, swelling and soreness soon after conception. Many women ignore this symptom associating it with PMS syndrome. Change in the breast is one of the early sign of pregnancy and stays till end of the pregnancy. It is the natures way to prepare a woman for impending motherhood and nurturing of the baby.

Slight spotting before periods: It is a rare but important sign of pregnancy and happens before your due period date. This spotting or light bleeding or a pink vaginal discharge occurs when the fertilized egg implants itself in the uterus.

While nausea, missed periods and general aches and pains are the sure signs of pregnancy in early stages. It is best to record these body changes and early signs of pregnancy in a pregnancy journal. The journal records your experiences, feelings and thoughts that can be shared with family or friends either for their benefit or for enjoying your happy moments. A pregnancy journal has a way of taking away your attention from general pains and aches to make you a happier person.

Once the pregnancy is confirmed maintain a weekly pregnancy calendar to record the growth and progress of the embryo to babyhood. This also helps in keeping track of your due date, babys development and mothers health starting from the day you discover the first sign of pregnancy.

What’s the difference between nausea due to pregnancy and due to gastritis?

What’s the difference between nausea due to pregnancy and due to gastritis?
is there any difference? i’ve been feeling this nausea almost whole day and when i pressed my gastric, I didn’t feel pain like what I used to feel when I had gastritis.

what i meant was i haven’t taken any pregnancy test yet and 3 days late…so i’d like to know if this is gastritis or due to pregnancy?

and please don’t say.. go to doctor or do a pregnancy test

I got gastritis now yes its serious symptoms but this is how you tell the difference eat somthing greasy and spicy go lay down if ur in pain within min you got gastritis if you get sick after eating or thinking about food or if your heart burn is constant yes you got gas. ok being pregnant if your stomach feel fluttery and you just dont feel yourself and a little quezzy then i would ck to see if its pregnacy but you cant tell if your pregnant untill your a month which i guess you would be consdering your 3 days late you always get a cramping feeling before your period comes on so if your not feeling that i would be a little worried also if your period does not come in 4 more days your pregnant! unless you got irregular periods well quick stressing cuz that can change your periods too and if you didnt know your period changes around ery 6 months so u could be going through changes your period will not always be on the same day.

Watching Out for Early Signs of Pregnancy

Learning about the early signs of pregnancy can help reduce anxiety and worry. Usually, the worry sets in when the period comes late. Am I pregnant? Why is my period so late this month? What am I going to do if I’m really pregnant? These thoughts could be swimming through your mind. The level of anxiety is especially intense if the pregnancy is not a planned one.

However, a period may come late for many different reasons. It is usual for women to experience late periods because of stress from work, or because the body is just not ready to go through another period cycle yet. In this case, all the individual has to do is to be patient. The period will eventually arrive, and there is no cause for worry. If the period comes later because of a pregnancy, perhaps you would have encountered one of these early signs of pregnancy.

Not hungry.

Usually, you find yourself starving when lunch time arrives. But for the past few days, you find that even though you may feel hungry, you still don’t feel like consuming much food. This could be an early sign of pregnancy. You could be losing your appetite because your body is preparing itself for carrying the baby.

Feel like vomiting.

To make things worse, you now feel like vomiting almost every morning. What goes in, tends to come back out. For this reason, you avoid taking meals. Nausea feelings may sometimes be caused by stress, fatigue, or sickness. So you have to be careful not to confuse this sign with pregnancy. The best way to tell, is to wait one or two days to see if the nausea feeling fades off by itself. If it persists, it’s likely that it’s a sign of pregnancy. Time to take a pregnancy test.

It takes a longer time to grow hungry.

The body of a pregnant lady has higher levels of hormones. This impedes digestion. As a result, it takes longer for a pregnant woman to feel hungry. Food also tend to linger in the stomach for longer periods of time. This could lead to heartburn or constipation.

Feeling dizzy.

We sometimes see pregnant women complain about dizzy spells all the time. Usually, this happens during the very early stages of a pregnancy. Blood pressure at this stage is lower, hence it’s easy for the pregnant lady to feel dizzy. When that happens, it’s advisable to do less work, and rest more. Avoid sudden movements, and when the dizziness comes, just keep still and allow some time to pass.

Going to the toilet more often.

During a pregnancy, there is increased pressure on the bladder and uterus. So a pregnant lady will have to go to the toilet more often to relieve herself. This can be an annoying feeling at first, at it causes some inconveniences. But it’s something that a pregnant lady will have to get used to.

What have you found works well to get rid of heartburn and nausea during pregnancy?

I am 3 months pregnant with my second child. My doctor is on vacation for another 2 weeks, so I can’t ask him this… I need something to help me out with heartburn and nausea. I have AWFUL heartburn and nausea all day long. It doesn’t matter what I eat, how I sleep, what I drink.. I drink water and I get heartburn. I have some candied ginger I chew on that slightly helps the nausea, but not the heartburn, and TUMS and ROLAIDS only help the heartburn for a short time… I obviously need something safe for pregnancy and hopefully a food or something that will help… thanks

Ask your doctor about taking Prilosec or something similar, they allowed me to do it in the second trimester if I remember correctly, The nausea should be going away any day now. I was a big fan of rice cakes and ritz crackers. Also, try a small amount of caffeine free Pepsi or Coke.
