What are some quick remedies for morning sickness?

I’m at work and am feeling really nauseated. I haven’t vomited (yet). Any ideas on what I can do?
I’m at work, so I need some advice on what I can do NOW. Thanks!

Eat, eat, eat. Try to keep something in your stomach at all times to cut down on nausea. I find that bland foods (crackers, cereal, toast, etc) work better than spicy, greasy, or sour ones. Also, I find that things that are heavy on protein seem to help (nuts, peanut butter, cheese, yogurt, milk, meat, etc). Also, one person said to try 7-Up or Sprite, but I find that carbonation makes things worse — you’ll have to figure out what works for you. Good luck!

Eat plain salted crackers. But just nibble on them, don’t eat them really fast. Also sip on a 7up or sprite.

you can eat crackers before getting up from bed in the morning. you can also eat small frequent meals throughout the day so that your stomach won’t get too full.

Nibble on some saltines and sip some sprite. You can also buy these things called preggie pops at babiesrus. They are lollipops but they help with morning sickness. Thats what I used. Anyways, hope you feel better!!

Is there a soda machine where you work? Try sipping on either ginger ale or Sprite/7-up and yes, crackers or maybe pretzels would be good as well. I wouldn’t try anything greasy (like potato chips) or sweet.

An upset stomach is one of the most common discomforts during pregnancy. Nausea is a result of hormonal changes and most often occurs early in pregnancy until your body adjusts to the increased production of hormones.

Nausea can begin in early pregnancy, but is usually gone by the fourth month. It can occur at any time of the day but may be worse in the morning when your stomach is empty (this is often called "morning sickness") or if you are not eating enough.

    Recommendations:
1.If nausea is a problem in the morning, eat dry foods like cereal, toast or crackers before getting out of bed. Or, try eating a high-protein snack such as lean meat or cheese before going to bed (protein takes longer to digest).
2.Eat small meals or snacks every 2-3 hours rather than three large meals. Eat slowly and chew your food completely.
3.Sip on fluids throughout the day. Avoid large amounts of fluids at one time. Try cool, clear fruit juices, such as apple or grape juice.
4.Avoid spicy, fried, or greasy foods.
5.If you are bothered by strong smells, eat foods cold or at room temperature and avoid odors that bother you.
6.Talk to your doctor about taking vitamin B6 or other treatments.

Contact your doctor if your vomiting is constant or so severe that you can’t keep fluids or foods down. This can cause dehydration and should be treated right away.
