What is best to reduce pregnancy nausea?

Also if you were pregnant or are pregnant how long did you experience nausea…
I am 6 weeks pregnant.

Until about 12 weeks it gets better though. Eat crackers and drink Sprite or pepermint tea.

first pregnancy had morning sickness and nausea for a full 4 months, wasnt’ until the first week of my 5th month did it finally let up….

Ginger helps a lot. some people say carbonated beverages but i found it made mine worse and gave me gas. I drank flat gingerale and ginger teas. Didn’t know about them until the 4th month though, maybe that’s why they finally stopped LOL

oh man-Im due any day now and I had it the entire time
the first 5 months was all day every day-it went away in month 6- came back in 7–Im days away from my due date & I still have it-only in the am and pm now though.
NOTHING I did would make it go away.

drinking a glass of lemonade is supposed to stop nausea–but I couldnt drink it with the heartburn–I ate a LOT of sour candy, lol

good luck–m/s is just THE WORST!

Get lots of sleep and exercise daily. Eat small meals and snacks to keep something on your stomach. I am eating popsicles and Saltine crackers when I am nauseated now. Ginger is good, but I’d consult your doctor just to be sure it’s ok during pregnancy. If your doctr says ok, boil a thumb size piece of ginger root in water til the water changes color slightly Add sugar to taste.

I wasn’t nauseated with my first. I had time to exercise almost every day and got more sleep ( I don’t so much now) and I think that helped most.

just snack during the day on easy food like jello pudding crackers soups sandwiches. having a full stomache can make it feel worse small portions of fruit help to splashing cool water on your face helps and keep the air moist and cool not to hot and dry. sickness usually sub-side around 3 months but every pregnancy is unique.

i tried to start out the day by eating saltine crackers or dry toast. sprite or ginger ale also helps. i did have to ask my ob about this and he told me to take dramamine to help to prevent this. when you take this about an hour and a half before you eat it works miracles. also having peppermint candies in my purse helped too. my nausea lasted until about 16 weeks.

Try taking your prenatal vitamin at different times to see if it helps (if this is okay with your doc). I was really sick when I popped my prenatals first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. When I started taking them with dinner, I was fine.

Nibbling on saltines and drinking flat Sprite also helped.

I’m sorry you’re going through this, though. It stinks but it will pass!

Girl i have 5 children with my 4 boys i got sick the whole time except 2 weeks out of my 7th month. Then my last one was a girl and about 8-12 weeks of nausea try pepperiments eat smaller amounts at a time I would not try medication for that all the things out there now you can’t be to careful with and you don’t want to harm the baby. Try hot tea or hot water with a peperiment any it. Hope this helps Congrats and GL God Bless You and Baby!

You can try ginger ale, sprite or 7-up, and crackers. That’s what worked for me. And I had morning sickness for most of my pregnancy.
